Helen D. Wicks

WICKS - Helen D. (nee Hart), 63, of Ridgewood, NJ died September 20, 2003. Beloved wife of Thomas O. of Ridgewood; loving mother of Ali Pearson of Dobbs Ferry, NY; Chrystine Shearouse of Montclair, NJ; Kelly Ray of Sheboygan, WI; Brian Wicks of Austin, TX and Michael Wicks of Orlando, FL; dear grandmother of Emily, Caroline and Katie and loving sister of Curtis Hart of Ridgewood. Before retiring in June 2001 Helen taught second grade for 30 years at Central School in Glen Rock, NJ. She graduated from Wesleyan College in Macon, GA in 1963 and received her masters degree in early childhood education in 1991. She was a member of St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church in HoHoKus; a member of the Glen Rock League of Woman Voters and a student at the Demarest Cultural Center. A memorial service will be held Sunday, September 28 at 1 PM at Christ Episcopal Church, 105 Cottage Place, Ridgewood.
