She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Joseph Pepin and predeceased by her sister, Betty Jo Gerber, brother-in-law, William Edward Gerber, and niece Ellen Gerber Henderson. She leaves her brother, John Pepin (Joyce), nieces Dione McGehee (Stuart), Laura Melton (Brent), Lynn Guyton (Bryan), great niece Kaila Henderson and great nephews Braedon Melton, Brody Melton, Bryce Melton, Marshall Guyton, and Curry Guyton.
At Helene's request a mass will be said at Our Lady of Mountains Catholic Church in Highlands, NC with entombment to take place at the mausoleum.
