Randy J. Boecken, age 62, of Oakland, Iowa, passed away on February 5, 2010, at Mercy Hospital.

He was born in Council Bluffs, to the late Walter and Rita (Bussey) Boecken.

He is survived by his sister and her husband, Rita and Eric Lausen, of Underwood, Iowa; nieces and nephew, Amanda Lausen, Brett Lausen, Stacy and husband, Gary Hankins, all of Council Bluffs; uncle, Howard Bussey, of Texas.

Funeral Service on Monday, at 1 p.m., at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Visitation with the family one hour prior to the service. Burial Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Memorials to the family.

Dear Angel & Family,
Randy always brings joy to my heart with every rememberance of him. As children we saw a lot of each other and he was like another brother. He and Denise are celebrating with all the family that has gone before us. May God comfort you. Love and prayers, Peggy

Angel and family, (I've always called you Angel) Its been along time since I've seen or talked with you and/or Randy. I am so very sorry to hear of his passing. I will always have the memories of you coming out to my parents or Grandma's house and we're were playing and carrying on. Oh the laughing and noise we made. Thank you for staying in tough with my Grandma. I know she loves you two like you were her own grandchildren. Take care and know Randy is with your parents. God Bless you all.
