I enjoyed our time together, Henry, and will miss you. My sympathies to Bernadette at this difficult time.

HENRY was an honourable colleague and great friend who dealt with the world on his terms, relying upon his principles and values. The recent political climate of the world troubled him, and at times he despaired but his love for his family and Canada inspired him. I hear him saying in his strong clear voice, "Kurata, Canada is great Country, don't you forget it." Henry gave a great deal to a great many people; love, wisdom, wit, and humour. He will always be a shining star in that great constellation of every day Canadians who are great human beings. Love to Bernadette and Henry's family.
