Dear Stark Family: I retired from the VNA a few years ago. I worked with Etta for a along time in the Medical Records Dept. of the VNA .Always enjoyed chatting and working with her - she was a great lady and will be sadly missed.

Dear Stark and Ortwein Families,
Many years ago a little girl would stand at our back door and sing a chorus of "Yo Yo San-dy", My reply was always the same "Yo Yo Ett-a". This was our secret calling to come out to play. She was a great kid and friend. On my 50th birthday, there she was again, outside my mom's window with the all too familiar melody. It was great to see her again and share childhood memories after so many years. A few months ago we ran into each other again, this time it was at the Lehigh Valley hospice where my mom passed away in January 2009. Etta was kind, caring and helped all of us at a very sad time. May you find comfort in knowing how Etta touched so many lives in the short time she was here. "Yo Yo Ett-a" Rest in Peace.

To the Stark Family,
My deepest condolences on your loss. Etta was a very special person and will be deeply missed by all members of our family. I remember Etta sitting with my family, visiting and providing support when my grandfather, her uncle, Abbie Ortwein passed away almost 7 years ago. Her comfort was greatly appreciated. I know heaven has just received another special angel.
Sincerely,
June 16, 2009
I worked with Etta for many years, she was one of those rare people who never talked bad about anybody and was always so sweet and calm. She will be
missed by all the Hospice group.

To Etta's family,
I have worked with Etta for three years now, and she had become such a great friend and a valued member of the hospice team. She was always so committed to her work, and so committed to patients and family members. It was important to her to be sure that all were treated with respect with all of their needs met promptly. Etta was one of the most open, honest and dependable woman I have ever worked with. One could always count on real conversations with her! She will be dearly missed!

I only knew of Henrietta through her daughter, but from what I heard she was a remarkable woman. I know the loss of a love one is always the hardest thing, but knowing ones life here on earth was filled with love from her family and that her "list" was completed should be comfort to those close to her. My God bless you through these tough times.
