I was so saddened to hear that Henry had transitioned. We were high school sweethearts for a while. Henry was such a gentle, wonderful man of God. I had not seen him in many years. However, I pray that the peace of God will keep his wife and children.

My deepest condolences to the Armstrong and extended families. I met Mr. Armstrong years ago when my son entered his “Oops” program. A program where he would basically mentor, educate and assist troubled teens to bettering themselves. My son was a member. I would sit at the meetings with him most times on Saturday mornings and learn a few things myself. He would speak on topics referencing behavior to. bullying. He was a very patient and kind man who loved his community just as much as he loved his family. He had a passion for helping others. I saw that when he helped my son. I’ll be forever grateful to that program because that’s where “my help” started. Moma Helen, Lisa, Nina, Kanem, Tony and Brandon, thanks for sharing him with us.
RIP Mr. Armstrong

I remember Henry III. It’s been years. Mr. Armstrong Jr. Henrys’ Father was my Scoutmaster at the Terrace Manor neighborhood recreation center in the Scouting Organization years ago when I was a young boy in the Boy Scouts. There was no Henry Brigham Recreation Center, that building didn’t exist. I believe Henry the third was an Eagle Scout, an Explorer Scout President and later went into Military Service. I went into public government service.
