Linda and Leann,
I am so sorry to learn of Hanks passing. He was such a great guy! I was thinking of him and my Dad on this Veterans Day and was sorry to find his obituary.
Linda, I wanted to thank you again so much for traveling with your Dad and bringing him to Indiana to visit my dad so they could reminisce all their great times together. Friendships, even long distance Friendships like theirs are hard to come by. I still have the picture of Hank and my Dad overlooking the Columbia River Bridge when they were in the service together, Hank had sent me after my dad´s passing, it is sitting in my living room today. I remember as a kid getting to see the area when your parents were so nice to open their home to us to visit and getting to shoot off model rockets, looking through his telescope, I wish I could have had Hank as a Teacher, though I guess his was a great influence as I have also shot off rockets and have a telescope to this day. I also remember my dad getting knocked off the rock jetty in Long Beach as that giant wave went over Mark and Me and hit Hank and my Dad.
My condolences to you and Leann, you have a great dad and I am very happy to have been able to know him. Jim Bright (the younger, not so young version)

Special friends through the connection of Crowfoot School District. Husband Dick worked with Hank. He taught at Waterloo, while Hank was at Seven Oak. We also had many occasions to be together. Both Hank and Gini are still greatly loved. Blessings
