HENRY THOREAU COLETTI

COLETTI, Henry Thoreau Passed away peacefully on June 13th, surrounded by family in his home in Sandwich, MA. Henry was born on January 6th, 1940 in Quincy, MA to parents, Eraclio & Dora Coletti. He was a proud Marine Corps Veteran and graduate of Boston University. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Ellen (Breen) Coletti; daughter, Christiane Sodano and her husband Sabatino of Needham, MA, son, Mark Coletti and his wife Erin of Pecetto,Italy, and son, David Coletti of Sandwich, MA; and five grandchildren, Sophia, Isabella, Sabatino, Luca and Ella; and two sisters, Tonia Coletti of Quincy, MA and Tereza Prime of Hull, MA. Henry loved working with people, and they enjoyed working with him. He began a long and successful career at Market Forge in human resources, rising to Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He then joined Vulcan-Hart Corp. in Louisville, KY and became president 1992. He retired in 2000 as president of ITW FEG-North America's cooking division. Honors included awards in manufacturing from the food service industry and an honorary doctorate from Johnson & Wales University. Perhaps the only thing that surpassed Henry's passion for the foodservice industry, was his love and dedication to his family, reading about history, talking politics, or spending time with his grandchildren.
