We used to call him Mr. G in 8th grade. He was our Agriculture teacher and probably the reason I'm a "crazy plant lady" today. For some reason, as I watered my garden this evening, out of the blue, I thought about Mr. G and the greenhouse he helped me keep at school. This prompted me to search for his name and learn of his passing. I am so sorry to hear this news. I just want to say what a special teacher he was, and while I may not remember much from math and history 40 years ago, I certainly remember how to grow, plant, irrigate, and raise livestock. Mr. G fostered a lifelong spirit of nurturing, cultivating, and growing all things. Not all teachers are blessings, wow, I've got a lump in my throat, he was a blessing, and I will always have a special fondness in my heart for him. May we meet again in the Great and Beautiful Heavenly greenhouse.

I taught Hank in kindergarten in
Socorro, New Mexico, when he was a "big" little boy. I always admired his Mother a lot. Sorry to hear he left us so soon.

I always enjoyed listening to Hank at bible study. It was apparent to me from the onset that he walked his talk. We have lost a good man but God has gained a warrior. Peace be with Kathy, kids and remaining family and friends.

It is our great pleasure to call Hank one of our dearest friends. We treasure our memories of time spent with Hank and Kathy, dinners, movies, Super Bowls or New Years Eves. Hank´s beautiful children are a reflection of him and carry on the values instilled in them by their father. We are so proud to be able to call both Hank and his beautiful bride, Kathy, our best friends. We love you always.
