Henry (Hank) Francis Keil, III

Henry (Hank) Francis Keil III passed away on Wednesday March 4th, 2025, at his home in Fulshear Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Francis Keil, Jr and Olive Doyle Keil, as well as his sisters, Marta Keil Daily and Nancy Keil Greenfield.

Hank was born in Riverside, California and lived in California until 2002 when he moved to Texas with his wife, Evelyn Keil. He graduated from Webb School and attended the University of California, Berkley. In 1951, he enlisted in the U.S Coast Guard as a Seaman Recruit. During his service, he served on several vessels, but his favorite was the USCGC Finch. He received an Honorable Discharge on September 18, 1959 and was awarded numerous commendations including the National Service Defense Medal, United Nations Service Medal, CG Good Conduct Medal, and the Korean Service Medal.

He began his financial consulting career at PaineWebber and worked in the industry for over 60 years, retiring from Sunbelt Securities where he formed a lasting friendship with Ray Rome. Even after retirement, he continued consulting with Ray for another decade.

Hank was an avid sportsman who loved hunting, fishing, and spending time at the gun range. He and Evelyn shared countless adventures, from deep-sea fishing off the coast of San Diego to hunting wild game in Texas, creating many cherished memories together.

Hank is survived by his beloved wife Evelyn Keil, his four children: Henry F. Keil IV, Lisa Keil San Vicente & husband Rick, Greg Keil & wife Cindi, and Scott Keil & wife Erica.

He is also survived by his stepchildren, Ron & Michelle Lovett, Rex Lovett, Rod & Gina Lovett and Mark & Lisa Lovett McAdams.

His cherished grandchildren include Domonique Keil Bonanza & her husband Greg, Joshua Keil, Alexa San Vicente and husband Grant, Jack San Vicente, Olivia Keil, Jillian Keil, Courtney & Beatty Southerland, James & Valerie Lovett, Cassidy & Michael Malone, Brock & Reagan Lovett, Kate Lovett, Jack McAdams and Morgan McAdams.

He was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Bralen Malone and Elliott Bonanza.

Hank was a kind and gentle man who only saw good in others. A true gentleman in every sense of the word. He greeted the world with a smile and always had kind words for others around him. He will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate to know him.

Honoring his wishes, Hank donated his body to medical education. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for May 17, 2025.
