HAWS, Henry Robert Tyndale
Peacefully at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Grimsby on Tuesday, April 25, 2000. Born January 29, 1909 at home in Grassie, where he was a lifelong resident on the family farm. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. Beloved husband of the late Anna Evelyn Haws (nee Durham) (1992). Loving father and father-in-law of Robert and Eleanor Haws of Grassie, Donald and Donna Haws of Erin, and Margaret and Alan Goddard of Grimsby. Dear grandfather of Jeffrey Haws of Calgary, David Haws of Smithville, Sally Quider of Grimsby, Christopher Haws of Grassie, Lisa (Goddard) Vien of Toronto, Adam Goddard of Toronto, Trevor Haws of Orangeville, and Dr. Ian Haws of Oakville, and great-grandfather of Eric, Bradley, Stuart, Travis, Sarah, Elliott, Kevin and Emily. Dear brother and brotherin-law of Alice and William Carr of Toronto. Predeceased by his sister Eva Durham (1995). Friends may call at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service at St. Andrew's Anglican Church in Grimsby on Friday at 2 p.m. Interment in the Church's adjoining Cemetery. Memorial donations to West Lincoln Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
