It is with sadness that I learned of the passing of your husband. My Mother, Theresa J. Kiernan, lived at 9 Mildred Avenue and spoke very highly of your Husband and yourself as well.

To the Horowitz family and Mr. Horowitz's dearest of friends I am sorry to learn of the passing of this spectacular human being. I had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Horowitz from the years I had worked for TEG Federal Credit Union. It was always a pleasure to wait on him and pass time conversing. I always held him in high regard. He helped make my years working at TEG much more pleasurable. May your fondest of memories comfort you until such time God reunites us with all those we loved in life.

Gail and I wanted to send our condolences. So sorry to hear about Henry's passing. he was a gentlemen's gentleman always. I remember our time working together at DCC and on the TEG credit union board. HE was always a valued contributor. Frank and Gail La Rose

I was so saddened to hear of the death of Mr. Horwitz. During my 27 years working at Dutchess Community College, I had occasion to talk with him during his many visits to the library and I always thought he was such a modest and quiet man with impeccable manners. We had a number of conversations over the years and I knew about his background in general, but I am so impressed (but not surprised) to read of all his accomplishments and his many years of service to our country. Rest in peace, Henry, and thank you for your service.

The 156 Field Artillery Veterans Association extends its deepest sympathies to the family of SSG Henry Horwitz. It is our prayer that you will each find God's comfort and peace as He walks with you during this difficult time.
Those of us who served with Henry will think of him fondly as he was a very likable man and good to be with. I personally have been away of A Battery for over 30 years but I remember him well.
