Dear Tai Goon,
We miss you so much. We always hope to see you in the game room when visiting Tai Tai in Visalia, but Mommy and Daddy try their best to explain you're watching over us. We were young when you left us, but everyone continues to give us fond memories of our Tai Goon. Boy, are there great and funny ones! We love you, and you will forever be our awesome Tai Goon. We are so fortunate to have met our Great Grandpa.

Love and miss you always,
Tyler and Leah

Dear Tai Goon,
We miss you so much. We ask for you every time we visit Visalia and wonder if you'll be sitting in the game room when visiting Tai Tai. We were young when you passed, but will hopefully retain the wonderful memories as we get older as we are fortunate to have met our Tai Goon. Both Mommy and Daddy, and the rest of the family constantly remind us of the wonderful Great Grandfather we had. We love you and always miss you.

Love your Great Grandchildren,
Tyler and Leah

Dearest Goon Goon aka Goonster,

Sometimes I forget the fact that you are gone but that is a good thing because even though you're not here physically, you're still here in my heart. Your presence was always huge and still is.

I remember as a kid that all of us grandkids would go to Fairway Market after school and during the summer to hang out. I guess you can say that was our second home during our childhood years. Anyway I'd always go into the meat department to not just bother my dad but to bug you as well! I knew you were annoyed but that was my goal! And it worked! Haha!

What I am going to miss about you is you reading the newspaper whenever I step inside your house as well as your crazy and wild hair after you washing your hair and wearing your wife beater top! That was a sight to see! Most importantly, I will miss your lovable smile and funny sense of humor. I plan to keep on doing oil painting in honor of you. I couldn't have asked for a better Goon Goon! I love you!

Love your granddaughter, Kristin

Yeh Yeh,

You always made sure that all of your grand-kids were never bored. Even when you had to work and we got to spend everyday of one whole summer at Fairway Market, you always watched over us and made sure that we were all happy, getting along, and our tummies were always filled with food. I will always remember when you gave us all water guns during business hours at Fairway so that we could run around shooting each other. I'm pretty sure we entertained the customers! I just wanted to say that without you, I wouldn't be here in this world today. Thank you for giving me my dad and most importantly, thank you for being my grandpa. I will miss you. I love you.

Your granddaughter,
Ashli

Yeh Yeh

You are an amazing grandpa. I will cherish all the fond memories I have of you. Of course, how can I ever forget you giving us water guns to play with at Fairway? My admiration of your hard work and dedication to live a happy, loving, and healthy life is what I strive for in the future. The goal is not to live forever, but the goal is to create something that will. You will. I will miss you dearly and you will be forever in my heart.

Pop, now that you're gone, not a day goes by that I don't think about you...whether it was something you said or something you did; but, during this moment of reflection, this memory moment would put a smile on my face. Your life on earth was special and your legacy will live on in our family.

Love, your son Donald

Dearest Yeh-Yeh,
It's been awhile. It's been difficult for me to let go. But I'm ready now. I miss your funny humor! I miss eating with you! I miss going with you to San Francisco Chinatown shopping endlessly for Chinese DVD's! I miss bringing Fizzy to your house and teasing you that he will not pee on your floor! But most of all, I will miss your big heart and your big smiling face! And now, you have Fizzy by your feet to share all that in heaven! You have been the best father-in-law ever! Love you, your daughter-in-law, Cindy

Dear Goon-Goon,

Thank you for being such a loving, funny Grandpa. You always put family first, taught us the importance of hard work and to be humble. I will always remember your laugh, our talks about school on the drive home from Fairway Market, your unforgettable sense of humor, and your warm heart. I love you Grandpa, and you are in my thoughts everyday. I know you are in heaven looking over your family.

Love,
Clarisse & Matt

Father (Bah-Bah),
Wow! What a great life you had! You have worked so hard and provided your family with needs and wants.

You have done a lot of amazing things in your life, such as painting, traveling around the world, and taking cruises and seeing all of your grandchildren and great-grandchildren grown up, had to have been a blessing.

Now you are at peace and can enjoy watching over us. You will always be in our hearts. Rest in peace.

We love you, your daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Stan

Dearest LoYeh...
Thank you for allowing me to know you as a person. You have shown me who you were, even without words spoken - but mostly by expression, gesture, and just by doing from the kindness of your heart. You have inspired me to become a better person, a better parent to my own children, your grandchildren. Because you were a GOOD father, father-in-law, grandfather, and a great-grandfather to your own children, and children's children it will pass on. And because of this extraordinary characteristic you had to be patient, understanding, and most of all funny, I cherish the wonderful memories I have of you. Rest in Peace. Your daughter in-law, Zarah

Yeh Yeh was an awesome grandpa. He was quiet but he always laughed at everything (maybe it was funny or maybe it was stupid, I think we share the same sense of humor) so I knew he was always paying attention to any conversation. I know he was a smart man, not only because of the things my dad told me (instilling life principles, investing money for his kids, hard work ethic), but because he raised such an amazing family that has always cared for each other never having any stress and gave us all an amazing opportunity to live as best we could. I wouldn't be where I am today if it weren't for my grandfather doing what he did. So thanks Yeh Yeh for raising your family to raise me to have such a great life. You're awesome. Get some rest.

YehYeh always made me laugh. Every time I would visit him, he'd ask about school and work with a big smile on his face. I remember this one specific moment, in which he helped me pronounce an English word as a young girl. We were sitting on a bench in my childhood home with a Berenstein Bears book, and I was stuck on the word "orange". Up until this day, this moment comes vividly to my mind. YehYeh, I thank you for always ensuring that your grandchildren are on the path to success. I hope we do you proud as you guide us from Heaven above. You will be truly missed Love,
Brittany

I remembered Uncle Henry always have a little smile on him. He was a very sweet and hard working man. Grandmother always talked about what a fine son-in-law Uncle Henry was when I first arrived in the United States. He will be missed by all.
