As one of Henry's clients, I only got to see him once or twice a year, still, he will be missed. He was always so kind, and very professional, not to mention talented at his craft. Janet Carter

So sorry to hear of Henry's passing. I met him back in the early 70s when I worked at Whataburger and he opened Henry's Jean Scene. He was always able to find Levi's for my long legs.

God Bless.

Dear Mrs. Luskey,
Isn't is amazing how our lives can be intertwined. I go to the gym with your daughter. She is such a sweet girl - always polite and, important to me, respectful. You and your husband raised a wonderful girl.
I attended the University of Texas from '65 to '69. My minor was accounting. Just married in '68, my husband attended UT as well that year and played many a game of handball on campus. I really feel that I had an accounting class with your husband and that my husband Glyn might have played handball with Henri. Such a small world.
We got to Fort Worth in '80, raising two sons. I remember Matthew loved going to Henri's for clothes and student council uniforms.
One day at the gym, I noticed Valrie's purse, falling in love with the pattern. Valrie told me it was a Goyard and that you had gotten it for her while in Paris. I was in Paris last spring on a once-in-a-lifetime trip and my daughter-in-law found the Goyard shop for me and encouraged me to buy the purse - I got the green one! I always think of that trip and of Valrie when I carry it.
Your husband was younger than me - a wake-up call to value my life and take care of myself and appreciate everything around me. I will even continue to go to the gym!!
I am so sorry for your loss. I know that it will be hard and hopefully time will ease the pain. I am so thankful that you have Valrie and a close family. Take care.

Sad day indeed, to lose such a great man who cared for Fort Worth. My heart goes out to his wife and family who have lost a wonderful man. Everybody I know loved the man and his Luskey's store. He did a lot for Cowtown, and may he always be remembered! God and Jesus know a good man, and wanted him home. Henry Lee Luskey will be terribly missed but never forgotten.
