Henry G. McDonald Jr. TALLAHASSEE, FL- Born Nov. 11, 1954 in Trenton, NJ, and a Tallahassee resident since 1977, Henry G. McDonald, Jr. died on March 1, 2010. He was a loving family man and a great friend to all who knew him. Henry enjoyed good music, good company, and good times. Nobody could cut a rug quite like Henry. In his lifetime, Henry worked in a number of occupations, including serving his country in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and, later, in the Army Reserve. Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Henry G. McDonald Sr. and Angeline Valeri McDonald, and brother, Benjamin Cox. He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend, Kelly McDonald; a son, Ian McDonald, and two daughters, Dena McDonald and Katie Linton; a brother, David McDonald (Denean); eight sisters, Maddy Dempsey (Peanut), Angela Kerkes (Mike), Faye Brown (Wesley), Wendy Cox, Lacey Patterson, Sarah Cox and Bobbi Messer, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The funeral is at 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at the Abbey-Riposta Funeral Home, Tallahassee, with interment following in Tallahassee Memory Gardens.
