A kind , intelligent , benevolent man, who's first priority was to make you feel good and important. I always enjoyed his company and the conversations we shared. He will be missed !

My deepest condolences to the Rettig family over the loss of Henry. Henry was a staunch supporter and trusted advisor to the SAE fraternity at UTEP for a number of years. He was always there for us when we needed advice. He was the definition of "The True Gentleman". On a personal note...he was a class act and was always dressed to the nines (especially his bow ties!). He set the bar very high and for that I am so grateful.

RIP Henry. You will be missed!

Just this summer I had the sweetest note from Henry. I was copy chief at deBruyn-Rettig for years, and Henry made us all laugh daily. I'll never forget a wonderful Christmas party at his home. We were all astonished at the beautiful decorations and the even-more-beautiful design he accomplished there. I send all of you a big hug and a heavy heart that shares this loss with you.

Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences to his family. Henry was such a great man. He always had a big smile on his face no matter what was going on that had to be one of my favorite things about him. That and he always had time to visit and put a smile on anyone's face. I was blessed to have Henry in my life for just under a year. I couldn't have asked for a better friend to talk to every morning. My husband kids and niece and nephew loved getting to know you. You will be greatly missed Henry. But never forgotten. Rest I. Paradise my dear friend.
