Henry Riley Obituary
Mr. Riley was a member of Knights of Pythias 37. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed singing with the Wilmore Singers, collecting firearms and being outdoors.
Born March 27, 1929, he was the son of James V. and Lena Mary Hill Riley. On Nov. 12, 1949, at Madison Street United Methodist Church, he married Mary Jean Riley, who preceded him in death.
Survivors include one son, Henry (Lori) Riley II, Avon; two daughters, Peggy L. Hart (fiancé, Kevin Brookshear) and Mary Melinda (Mark) King; two brothers, Joe Riley and Stewart "Spike" Riley, both of Veedersburg; one sister, Florence O. (Ancil) Staggs, Muncie; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four special friends, Joyce Case, Sally Campbell, Richard Staggs and LaRue Cross.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
Pastor David Wright and M. Steven King will conduct funeral services at 4 p.m. Saturday at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. Ind. 3, Muncie. Burial will take place at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation Inc., 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018.
