Henry Rodriguez

Rodriguez, Domingo Enrique (Henry), formerly of Stanton, California passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020, of complications from Covid-19 at the age of 61. He was born in Santa Ana, California on October 29, 1959. Raised in Stanton, he resided in Riverside, California for the last 19 years. He is survived by his wife Beatrice Gonzales Rodriguez, his seven children (Marisa C. Rodriguez, Henry, Jr., Raymond, April (Clark), John, Sarah, Elizabeth), 24 grandchildren, his siblings John Rodriguez, Andrew, Richard, Edward, Linda, Isabelle (McAndrews), Sonia Noemi (Naomi) Rodriguez, Deborah N. Venegas and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Guadalupe G. Rodriguez, his mother Rosa (Rosie) C. Rodriguez, his sister Rosie A. Rodriguez Jennings, his sister Diana Smith, his niece Crystal M. Molina and his prospective son-in-law Brian Rizo. Henry was a small business owner who learned his trade of upholstery from his mother. He took great pride in his shop, Henry's Auto Upholstery and enjoyed the steady workload. Many of his customers became lifelong friends. Henry's greatest accomplishment, and his pride, was always his family. He visited his parents every day in Stanton to check up on them. When his father was hospitalized, Henry would visit his father every night and sit by his hospital bed so that his father would never be alone. Many times he said he was a happy fortunate man for having such a wonderful family. He loved his wife Beatrice and his children with all his heart. Henry had an enormous heart and always helped family members and organizations such as The Brown Descents Car Club. He enjoyed the car shows, picnics, fundraisers and their humanitarian work to help those in need even during the pandemic. Although humble and unassuming, his spirit touched many lives. All who knew him will remember his strong work ethic, love of life and deep sense of responsibility. He was the best of us all. You cannot find a person with a bigger heart than Henry. The world has no idea what a great man stood before them. The viewing will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021, at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park and Mortuary, 11500 Arlington Avenue, Riverside, CA 92505 from 10:00 am 1:00 pm. Followed by graveside service at 1:30 pm and burial at 2:30 pm. We invite all that have had the privilege of knowing Henry to attend. Henry, you will be missed, but never forgotten. We know you will always be watching over us. We all love you very much.
