I was so sorry to hear Top had passed. I meet him through a neighbor Kitty Good. His kindness to all was a part of his personality. He was a great man of integrity that kept his word. The world has lost someone special.

I was saddened to learn of Top's passing. My Dad worked with Top's Father, and later with Top, and always spoke very highly of both. Top visited Lauri Nissen and me in Weimar several years ago - It was a wonderful - He spread goodwill wherever he went.

I am so sorry to hear about Henry. He was the best man I ever worked for. He was a leader a pioneer and local unsung hero.

I will be forever grateful for his help and guidance.

I wish to express my condolences on Henry's passing. He was always friendly, professional and never thought he was better than anyone else because of his position as Executive Vice President. It was a professionally rewarding experience working with Henry on various projects.

Henry was one of the good guys. My father worked with and for Henry and admired him greatly. When I joined the APS family in the early '80's I saw first hand why he was so well liked and respected. He was such a kind and approachable gentleman. My heart and prayers go out to his family and dear friends.

Henry ("Top" as in Top Sargent) was all this and more to his many friends who loved him, appreciated his good company and sense of humor and benefited from his wisdom and good sense. My sister-in-law Susan Hurley DeConcini reminded me that he was also an excellent pianist in both classical and popular realms. My wife Elizabeth Murfee DeConcini reminded me that he played an important role in the creation of the Herberger Theater from his position on the Phoenix Civic Plaza Board and could whip up a mean martini on a moment's notice.

My first thought was one of sadness of hearing of Henry's passing, but it soon changed as I remember with fondness the kindness he showed me and others that worked with him. It was a pleasure and honor working for him at Pinnacle West .

I only met Henry a couple of times and thus did not know him well but I had the honor of having lunch recently with a number of his close friends who had worked with him for years. The warm, funny stories were a great tribute to him from those who knew him best. He will clearly be missed.

It is so sad to read of the passing of this great man. He helped make Phoenix what is it today and so contributed to the livability that we all enjoy. Thank you for all that you did and God bless!
