Henry TROUT Obituary
Henry "Hank" George Trout passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 28, 2016 at the age of 90 years. He was predeceased by his parents Hector and Jean; and brother William "Bill". Henry will be lovingly remembered by his wife Betty; sister Helen (Jack) Macnab; brother Doug (Estelle) Trout; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Henry actively served with the Royal Canadian Navy during WWII. He was also a lifelong farmer in the Wilcox area. He and Betty enjoyed vacationing in Arizona and Hawaii for many winters. A PRIVATE FAMILY SERVICE will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Henry may be made to the Regina Humane Society, P.O. Box 3143, Regina, SK S4P 3G7. We were so very sorry to hear of Hank's passing. The very first time I met Hank was in Wilcox during the war and he was on leave from the navy. First sailor I ever met on dry land! We enjoyed each other's company then and that lasted throughout our lives. I have always considered Hank one of my very best friends and will miss him dearly. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Sincere sympathy, Betty, on Henry's passing. You will have many great memories of a long marriage and many travels. I still see Henry farming!! We haven't seen each other for quite a long time now, a change from when we used to drive home from work together in the winter time. I will remember Henry in my prayers, and you as well. My sympathy t o you Betty. I remember the nice visits at your place and the dinners we shared. Evelyn and Clint Stewart told me that Henry had been in poor health for the last while. They willb e sad too as he was a great friend of theirs Anita Armstrong, (nee Stewart)

The wonderful memories of his visits either on Hill Ave or the Optometrist office when he came in for his appointments would always make my day.
