Henry Zebe Obituary
Mr. Zebe was born in Laverne, Minnesota, on September 5, 1924. He was a Veteran of the U. S. Navy and retired from Armco Steel.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois A. Canote Zebe.
Survivors include a son, Paul K. Zebe of Watertown, Massachusetts; two daughters, Elaine Laster and husband Mike of Griffin and Rebecca Zebe of McDonough.
Other survivors include two grandchildren, Larry Laster and wife Christy of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Kelly Reeves and husband Michael of Ft. Bragg, North Carolina; great grandchildren, Anna, Zachary, MA, and Andrew Laster, Aaric, Mikayla, Xander and Gabriel Reeves.
Cryptside services for Mr. Henry Zebe will be conducted on Tuesday June 28, 2011, at 10am at Westwood Mausoleum. Rev. Tim Riordan will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be directed to a charity of one's choice in memory of Mr. Zebe.

Dear Zebe Family,
Dan and I are sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Zebe. He and your mom were wonderful folks and we have fond memories of both of them. I don't know if you realize it, but we credit Lois with introducing Dan and I, as she organized OTUT Sunday School class in 1981 where we met! They were both kind and gentle friends to the Grandview UMC and all who knew them, and will always be remembered here. Blessings to all of you,

We are sorry to hear about your loss. My husband and I live in your former home in Grandview. I never met Mr. Zebe but I feel like I new him. We wrote each letters from time to time and I could tell that he loved this old house very much just as my husband and I do. Every time we plant something new or add something to the house we always wish that your dad could be here. We know that he will always be here in some way. We will plant a tree in the yard in his honor. I think that he might like that. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. Terri and Elmer Guillamas

I was sorry to hear of your father's passing but know that he has gone on to glorious Eternal Life in Jesus. I met Mr. Zebe when I joined Holy Trinity Lutheran in Grandview in the mid-1980s. He was a wonderful man -- always smiling, laughing and enjoying fellowship with friends. We still talk about him at church from time to time and remember him fondly. Please find peace in the Lord's promise of great glory in heaven. Liz Wheeler
