When I first met Herb at Mayo Foundation, his demeanor seemed typical of the financial services professional. Then I realized he practiced what he preached: investing in education, supportive of arts&culture, and care for the human condition. Then we bonded over Asian cuisine! We kept in contact over time and distance, and Herb was always Herb. A great guy!
