Herbert Mayr Obituary
Herb and his wife Renate immigrated to Canada and ended up in Victoria BC where they spent most of their 63 years of marriage. Herb was an Electrician by trade and retired as the Electrical Foreman at UVIC in 1995. He was a jack of all trades and there wasn't anything he couldn't do around the house. Herb was a very proud father and was way ahead of his time taking care of his daughter Shelley. Midnight feedings and dirty diapers never stopped him. His passion for family continued when his grandchildren arrived. His passions were propagating geraniums, tending to a huge vegetable garden, was a veracious reader, loved puzzling and playing cards with friends.
Thank you to The Victorian at McKenzie for providing a safe and comfortable home for my parents for the last years of their lives.

Shelley, So very sorry to see that your father had passed away. He was such a great guy. He made us a lovely bird house which I cherish and put up every summer in the garden. Great picture . You were lucky to have had him as a father.
