Even in high school Herby was one of the "good guys." I remember him as quiet, kind, helpful, and friendly. I pray for his family that happy memories of him will comfort them in this time of loss as well as knowing he is well and with the Lord he loved and served so graciously.

Herb was the first person I met at the Methodist Church who welcomed me to come in when I was looking where to go for the Ash Wednesday service several years ago. I knew I had found my Church home from meeting Herb. What a dear, sweet man, I will miss my friend.
