I wish I wasn't so far away...I would love to be with you to remember Uncle Herbert and find peace in knowing his last years were such a positive time in his life. Thank you for being such a caring and loving partner for him! He was my last surviving uncle, and we will miss him very much. His NC family will always keep him, and you, in our hearts.

Dorothy,

My sympathies to you and to your family. I am so glad that my Uncle found someone like you to share his last years with. I certainly appreciate and admire your care for him during these last years when he was so sick. He was a wonderful and caring person and I know you will miss him. He was my mother's last brother and now she is alone and she feels such a void. Thank you again for taking such good care of him.

Dorothy,

My deepest sympathies. Uncle Herbie was the dearest person to our family. His sense of humor, his ever-young savoir fayre of life. When I graduated from high school in 1965, my mom and dad and I traveled the beautiful State of California with my Aunt Shirley and Uncle Herbie. It was the time of my life. I will never forget the time we had. Every Christmas Eve I called to talk to them, and I know it was improtant to Uncle Herbie, not that he could talk that much. I usually got a hello and I love you, goodbye. I'm glad that he was able to find you after my aunt died. I know you made him happy, and my family and I greatly appreciate that.

Again, my deepest sympathy to you and your family.

Love,

Linda Dionne Huard

Uncle Herbie was such a beautiful person. His smile shined brighter then the sun. His caring ways will always be remembered. We will miss you greatly.
