Herbert Michael Schub

Herb was my doctor in the Air Force (1964-1966), and we remained friends for life. He was the most brilliant doctor I have ever known. I trusted his opinion over any primary care or specialist physician I knew.
Herb was curious and knowledgeable about all fields of medicine, world politics, travel, the entertainment industry, and life in general. Humor was part of every conversation as well as his love of family. Lyn played a major part in his enjoyment of a rather short retirement after retiring at age 83.
Herb made a major impression on all those lucky enough to have known him.

Herb was my teacher, role model, generous supporter, partner and friend. He inspired me to love the practice of clinical medicine, and excel as a pulmonary and critical care physician. He will remain in my fond memory, always.
