You will be missed Herb, I only knew you for few years but I will miss coming to your firm to present to you one of your favorite fabric lines. You are a true gentleman and an artisan,I am thankful for coming to know you my friend. Rest in Peace I will remember you always.

Herb designed d the house I grew up for my parents which is located on Carmel Ct. in Forest Hills, PA. I will always remember Herb to be a truly gifted, talented and caring man and with great and timeless taste. As I child we would visit Herb and Melvin's home and he was gracious and fun host. I still have the Star of David Bar Mitzvah gift Herb bought for me 35 years ago. Thank you Herb for your entire gift of inspiration.

Herb, I'm going to miss you. You were an inspiration to me when I first met you when I was 8 years old in 1964 when you designed the addition on my parent's house. Year later, I was thrilled when you agreed to design my house in 2003. It's too bad there was no mention in the news of your passing about your design achievements. Your creative spirit will be missed. - Marty

Dear Robin,
I was saddened to hear of Herb's passing. Though our acquaintance was relatively short, our shared holidays in White Oak were special and I feel fortunate to have known him, his brilliance and talent and about his hamish youth in the Mon-Valley. May his memory forever be a blessing.
