Couldn't sleep and "googled" my last name and saw the obit for Herman. I'm sorry to hear of his passing; seems like a whole generation is disappearing before us. Mom passed 1/15/08; I had spoken with Ricky when she collapsed in 2007... he was very supportive during a difficult time for me. I hope you're all doing as well as you can ...
And, FYI (if needed), my father's name was spelled Sol (not Saul).
Best to all of you!

From a classmate of Fran's:
I was so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

So sorry to hear Herman's gone. My mouth and Herman were on a first-name basis, and I think mom and dad helped buy one of his Corvettes. Even today, dentists comment on what fine work was done on my teeth 50 years ago. On those teeth still there, I mean.

I am so sorry for the death of your father. I have good memories of our time on Hickory St. Your father was always kind to me...I never was afraid of going to the dentist. I will remember him with fondness. We will be out of town this weekend or I would try to make the service. Please greet everyone and tell them I send my love. Wanda Peterson
