Joe was a special guy. We were fraternity brothers at K-State and often studied together during the mid 1960's. I didn't realize, Joe was Valedictorian of his class. Now I know why I studied with him on courses like managerial accounting. Joe had such an easy going personality and warm personality. Just sorry I wasn't able to tell him goodbye before he died. Kay and I are thinking about Mary Lea and her family at this time and will always remember the good times we shared together.

Joe Stout was a class act, a gentleman and a caring mentor. My condolences to Mary Lea and family.
