Condolences to the Sandles family. I had the pleasure of working with Herman in the SCPD during the years1968/1970. Herman was a good boss and and a true gentleman.

Lieutenant Herman Sandles was one of the best supervisors that the Police Department had. He will be forever remembered by all who worked squad 20 in the 3rd. Precinct. May Saint Michael the Patron Saint of Policemen guide you through Heaven. GOD BLESS YOUR SOUL HERMAN, You were a wonderful man.

Today the world has lost a true hero. I did know and work with him in both the Suffolk County Police Dept. and as a fellow firefighter from Central Islip he will be greatly missed as a protector of our society and even more as a person. May God be with you. My condolences to his family he will always be remembered.
