Funeral at 11 AM, Thurs. at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam in Chester, where friends may call Wed., 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Interment at Arlington National Cemetery, with full military honors at the Fort Myers Chapel at a later date. Contributions to Hospice of Queen Anne's, Inc., 255 Comet Drive, Centreville, MD 21617. www.fhnfuenralhome.com.

Colonel Tighlman was a good friend of my mom at Brightwood. They sat together at dinner on many wonderful evenings and enjoyed each others company. My mom recently died in Sept and Colonel Tighlman was present for us during this very sad day. We remember him fondly and his incredibly accomplished life. My prayers to all his family and friends.
