In memory of
Gary Weslager
November 15, 2009
I used to see Hilary every day when he worked in downtown Pittsburgh in the Carlton House. I worked at Isaly's and he would come in, as well as other radio personalities. Many years later, I saw him at the Radio Shack in Pleasant Hills and although I didn't see him at first, I heard his voice and knew immediately who he was and so acknowledged him. Sorry to hear about his passing.

Our neighborhood will never be the same without Mr. Bogden. He made every child feel welcome in his presence. I have many fond memories of his belting voice that mezmerized us all to his record collection that made you stand in awe at its sight. Standing on the porch and watching all the planes come in while having tantalizing conversation as an adult is a memory that will stay with me forever. And one can never forget the sweet smell of his cigar as he took his nightly walk past our home.
Thank you Mr. Bogden for showing the children of the world your kind and loving heart and making us feel as if Mister Rogers lived in our 'neighborhood.' Heaven is sweeter place with "Froggy" in its family. I'll miss you!
