This past Monday April 4th I was next door to Lou's house so I went over to say hi, he misses Hilda a lot but he is amazing how active he is. Many years ago when I would try to build something and get stuck I would start talking loud within Lou's ear range. Lou would always come check on me and tell me what I was doing wrong and how to correct it. So Monday I was moving a 14X40 foot building, the one that Hilda did not particularly care for. Lou stayed there with us gave us good advice on the engineering aspect of how to safely move the building and when our truck got stuck he took me over to the new neighbors that are building a house on the other side of his and asked the builder if we could use their tractor, the way the builder greeted Lou you could tell he thought the world of him, and he let us take the tractor. As I have often said Lou and Hilda were the best neighbors you could ever have, they were always there for my family. We love them, Mike & Francine
