Hiroche Jose Date

Good man.

A final salute to Major Date! He was a true gentleman. He was one of my instructors at the USAF Academy when I was a cadet and also was involved in the Los Padron Club. Heaven has a new Angel! God Bless!

My condolences to the Date family.
We, me and our other Air Force buddy, Richard Morales, met Date in 1962 while stationed with the 4128th SAC Bomb Wing at Amarillo AFB, Texas. We enjoyed a close friendship, maintained our relationship since then and visited with Date and his wife, Eva, in the past years.
He was a very good person and friend and will be missed but not forgotten.

When Morales visited me in Corpus Christi.
Date and I had the same birthdate except he was one year younger and he told me that his first name, Hiroche, was Henry in Japanese.
He will be missed but will be remembered.

Mrs. Date and family please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Mr. Date. May he rest in peace. I will keep your family in my prayers through this difficult time.
