Hiromi ITO

ITO , Hiromi October 23, 1945 - March 20, 2009 Hiromi Ito passed away peacefully on March 20, 2009, after a long fight with cancer at the Foothills Hospital. She will be deeply missed by her husband Yoshiaki of forty years, and her daughter Yayoi. She was born in Japan on October 23, 1945. She immigrated to Canada in July 1970. She worked at Gulf Canada Resources for twenty years. After retiring she enjoyed golf, curling, wood carving, paper crafts and shuji (Japanese calligraphy). Hiromi was the backbone of the family providing support and care to all. She will be remembered as a wonderful loving mother, as a caring wife, and a generous friend. Her youthful spirit will forever be remembered in the hearts of all who knew her. In respect of Hiromi's wishes, no funeral Service will be held.
