I only recently learned of Hollis's death. He was a key person in my telling the story of "Gasoline Alley" in Kensington, Maryland. He and his dad were important people in the early history of DC area car racing--especially sports car racing at Marlboro. Hollis was incredibly nice to me and very generous. I'll never forget his kindness. It was my privilege to know him and to learn about all of his dad's accomplishments.

I went to Albert Einstein High School with Hollis. He was extremely popular and strong. We were in the same geography class. He was always kind, friendly and gracious to me and my fellow classmates. He never picked a fight or tried to humiliate me or other students though he could very easily have done so! GREAT knowing you Hollis!!

I remember Hollis as a teenager and young woman when he dated my sister Eileen. He was a lot of laughs and very kind. And a fellow K-town kid.

Dear Webster family and friends. I am so very sorry to hear of your great loss. I went to school with Hollis, aka, Junior, from elementary school all the way through high school. I remember Hollis for having a personality bigger than life, even as a kid. He was always nice to me and I remember his laugh like it was yesterday!! Think of him and smile often over fond memories and happier times!! May he Rest In Peace with the Lord!!
