While having the opportunity to work along side Holly for nearly 6 years at Napa State Hospital we were able to work together on behalf of the patients that so desperately needed mental health treatment. Holly and I would, often times, huddle in her office and laugh at the obsurdity at how out of touch administrative staff was with the realities of being on the front lines with very sick and dangerous patients. Holly was a a professional to the core. She possessed the ability to laugh and look at the funny side of life. Doing phone, process, meditation/walking groups with the patients along side Holly was an honor. Spent many a lunch with Holly laughing and crying sometimes about the human condition. I will carry those fond memories with me forever. Holly was a compassionate soul and flies free now.
Forever in my heart.
