Holly Franz

Holly Lynn Franz, 31, of New Boston NH, peacefully left us to soar with the angels on June 10, 2025. She was surrounded by loved ones and the love of all who knew her.

Holly was born April 2, 1994, in Arlington Heights, Illinois and moved to Bedford NH at age 7. She was diagnosed with a rare neurodegenerative disease, Friedreich's Ataxia, when she was 11. She became a fierce advocate for finding a cure for FA through Holly's Hope, a group formed with friends and family who raised funds for the Freidreich's Ataxia Research Alliance.

Although Holly became a full-time wheelchair user at 15, she did not let her condition define her. After completing high school, she went on to earn her BA in Fashion Marketing at SNHU. She won several pageants while advocating for people with disabilities, showing her beauty both inside and out.

Holly became a representative for Isagenix, promoting healthy lifestyle, and was a runner-up in the IsaBody Challenge. She will always be remembered as a fighter and a fashionista who gave hope to others and taught us all invaluable life lessons.

Holly is predeceased by her mother, Hannelore Federspill, who was her greatest advocate; the love and dedication she bestowed upon her daughter was something to behold. Holly was also preceded in death by her stillborn twin sisters, and her beloved dogs Zoey and Jett. She is survived by her father, Rob Franz, her stepfather, Eric Federspill, her "Uncle" Frank, and legions of close friends and family. So many people helped care for Holly and in the process cared so much about her. Special recognition goes to all of her health aides and nurses, and her Rose Meadow Farm family, where she had been living since her mother passed. The kindness of everyone at Granite VNA Hospice House in Concord NH, where Holly passed, is also immensely appreciated. We always said, "it takes a village," and Holly certainly brought one together.

A Celebration of Life is being held Monday June 16 from 2-7 PM at Pat's Peak Resort in Henniker NH, where you can stop in at any point to share memories and reminisce about Holly.
