Holly, from the moment I met You in 8th grade You were one of the nicest / sweetest people in our class (in my life)… You always seemed to have a smile for others, even while You were going “through a storm”… The memories You leave us with will be treasured for many years… Thank You for allowing me the opportunity to Pray with You just a few weeks before your passing; that Blessed me more than You will ever know. I will keep your son and family in my Prayers for Strength and Comfort during this most difficult of times. Holly, You will be missed, You will never be forgotten…You will always be Our Beloved Holly…

Beautiful friend and classmate...this world will miss your smiling face and cheerful spirit! Though life presented you with many personal challenges...you persevered and navigated through with your own style and class. You somehow managed to set aside your own personal losses and lifted those around you with your smile and warm heart...offering friendship and love. You will forever be missed here by those of us who's lives were touched by you! It brings peace to me in knowing you have left behind a part of you...your beautiful son Brent and in knowing your suffering and pain have been replaced as you rest in the hands of our loving Father in Heaven! My prayers of comfort go out to those closest to you. Forever in our hearts...you will always be remembered with love...our dear, sweet Holly!!

Whenever I think of Holly, I think of her as a young girl. We all were. I was the one forever tagging along with Holly and my sister. It seemed we were always at her house or she was at ours. We played dress up in her mom's way cool things. We watched Tom Jones on TV and sang along to his songs. We ate mulberries from the tree in her backyard. We tried to blow the conch shell that her dad left by the front door just like he did so well. We (ok, she) tried to drive their little car (a VW Bug or was it a Carmen Ghia?) when our feet would barely reach the pedals. We grew up barefooted and running through the field between our homes. Then we grew up and had different friends. I stopped tagging along. We lost touch. But I always remembered Holly. Everyone did. How could you not?? She's unforgettable. The sweetness, the kind heart, the warm smile. So missed, but never forgoten.

Holly was very kind to me at a time when kindness was not overly abundant in my life. She never failed to have a smile for me and a kind word to brighten my day. Even though I have not been able to spend as much time with her as I would have liked these last few years, I know that she is now in a better place than this. My heart rejoices that she is free from pain at last, and that she is reunited with the family she has missed for so very long. My condolences go out to her family - Holly will never be forgotten!
