You were the best uncle I could have ever asked for. I miss our long telephone calls. I miss you - plain and simple. Stay with me, please. Watch over me. I love you always.

Your Niece, Laura

It has been so many years since I have seen Horace. He came bace here to live for a while and we all got together for mememberances... mostly the guys. It was just great. He was a friend to many in his home town Kept thinking that we all would have one last chance to get togeather. Not to be... Horace was one of my dearest friends growing up. May God wrap His loving arms around his soul and give him peace.

Horace was a classmate at Toccoa High School in Northeast Georgia and was a fine fellow - also an excellent basketball player. Sorry about his passing.

I knew Horace from Toccoa Public Schools, from elementary school through high school. Horace played the trumpet in our band. Was liked everyone. And was one of the most handsome fellows in town. Tall, good looking, always with a smile and always courteous. I think most every girl in Toccoa High School had a crush on Horace at one time or another. So many of us moved away from our fabulous, great small town upbringing and lost contact with each other. So glad to know now about Horace after moving away. My condolences to his wife and family and most especially to his sister Ann, my longtime classmate. God rest his soul. Liz Hallford Ward.

I was so sorry to hear about the death of Horace. He was a THS classmate of mine, we also went to the Jr-Sr prom his Jr year in high school. It was so good to see him & meet his wife when he visited Mary Lee Thomason. She invited some local classmates to get to visit with him. I know he will be missed, so sorry for his wife, his sister Ann & other family members. Love to all, Judy Tomlin Means

I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Horace. We were family friends where we all grew up Church and school, in a lovely small town with great memories. May God bless you his wife and sister Ann, my friend, now and in the days ahead.
