I HEARD I LOST MY BROTHER HORACE A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO. MY WIFE JUST DISCOVERED HOW I COULD SEND MY CONDOLENCE TO HIS FAMILY. WHEN I SAY HE WAS MY BROTHER IN FACT HE IS. WE WENT TO INKSTER HIGH TOGETHER AND WERE VERY CLOSE ALL OUR ADULT LIFE. HE HELPED ME TO GET MY FIRST RADIO JOB IN MONTGOMERY. WE SHINED SHOES TOGETHER AT PENNEY'S BARBER SHOP IN INKSTER. MALCOM X WAS ONE OF OUR CUSTOMERS. I LAST TALKED WITH HORACE ABOUT SIX WEEKS AGO WHEN I HAD THE ZAPP BAND BROTHERS ON MY RADIO SHOW (KJLH 102.3 IN LOS ANGLES)I'VE MADE OUR CLASS REUNION COMMITTEE AWARE OF THIS WEBSITE. LIKE HORACE I BECAME A TEACHER AS WELL. HORACE WAS ONE OF A KIND HUMNAN BEING, AND I LOVED HIM LIKE A BROTHER. TO HIS FAMILY WE THE CLASS OF INKSTER HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1958 SEND OUR DEEPEST CONDOLENCES

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

I find myself wishing that I could have just talked to Mr. Chisholm one more time as if we hadn't talked and talked and talked. Though Mr. Chisholm could definitely drive you crazy at times, there will never be another one like him. One of the entries here mentions his kindness and generosity. Mr. Chisholm was truly a giving person who always offered a helping hand. I really appreciated the encouragement he tried to provide my sons. I will never ever forget him and all of his generosity. I feel truly blessed to have encountered Mr. Chisholm and built such a great friendship. May God bless all of his friends and loved ones. Hold your memories dear as I most certainly will.
