I met your dad for the first time at your house at a crab feast. He was the most friendly, pleasant, loving person that I have met in a long time. I am so sorry for your loss and for your family's loss. May your hearts be with him forever. Love, Yu

Mr. Cobo was a wonderful man. I had the pleasure of attending school with his daughter Diana. Through the years, while visiting his daughter, he always greeted me kindly and regaled us with stories of his adventures. A proud Cuban and American, he exemplified the kind of spirit that brings people of all walks of life together. Thank you for being a part of my life and that of so many others. May you rest easy until reunited with all those you love and have loved you. My condolences to all your family and friends during this sad time. With sorrow for your loss, Jason M. I had spent time with him last year and he shared so very much, I just listened to his story! He was such a very proud man of his life, his family. I was in awe of what he endured coming to this country, I was so moved. In all the years I´ve known him, I was there at that rare moment he decided to share with me, I felt honored and so grateful he did.

I remember when he gave my sister-in-law away to my brother, 46 years ago. RIP Mr. Hernandez, (Horacio), I never called him by his first name, way too much respect for him, although he told me to! I have always had the utmost respect and love for you and your family.
