Blessings to our whole family: I remember Uncle Howard from the time I was a child when I used to dive off his shoulders in the Old Oaks swimming pool. Such fun!

Mr. Cooper ...You have been in our thoughts and prayers since we heard you're not well…We miss you Mr. Cooper and always will. We even miss the cigar smell… My family and I are better people for having had the honor of being friends with you. My wife Karmen is too upset to even say much on this sad occasion. But your generosity & good advice made all of our lives better. It's hard to even imagine how all of our lives would be today without your cigar chewing grin in it and heartfelt love. We do know this much, our lives are better because you cared. You have a heart of gold and thank you for sharing your love with us. To Neal, Karen & Peter we send our love thoughts and prayers, you're farther was a wonderful man and we will never let his memory die.

To The Family of Howard Cooper: With much sadness, I just learned of your loss...Howard was a special man with a magnetic personality. My family and I shared great times with him out in East Hampton..He was always a terrific and most gracious host. My late husband, Joseph Comras, worked together with Howard in the early days at Sonnenblick-Goldman. He always admired Howard's incredible ability to charm the most difficult of clients. He will be missed and not forgotten. My deepest sympathy

I remember being in grade school and going every Sunday during the winter, because the golf course must have been closed ,with my sister, Micki and my Dad, Jack to meet my Uncle Howard and my cousin Peter at the bowling alley in White Plains. Those were some of the best memories of my childhood. Years later, when I was in high school, I was in the locker room at Old Oaks and my Uncle Howard asked me if I wanted to go flying with him. I was so excited and we set off to Westchester County Airport where he kept his plane, and up we went. "Buzz" Cooper, as he was sometimes known in some inner family circles, then proceed to give me a bird's eye view of our house in Harrison and started Kamakazing and buzzing the house with the plane. When I got home , I was so excited to ask my parents,Jack and Dani, if they had seen us signaling them from the air? I can still remember the look on my mother's face. Jon Sonnenblick Monte Rio, Ca

To my most wonderful cousins, Karen and Peter, and to Denny, and to Cousins Casey, Josh and Sasha, and to Neal and Jody and Caroline, I am sorry I cannot be in NY with you to share in honoring Uncle Howard's life. I shall always remember Uncle Howard and was so glad to be with him at Casey's Bat Mitzvah a few years ago. I know we all have colorful memories of times with Howard! Lots of love, Cousin Susan
