DILLON, Howard Joseph 68 years, on January 28, 2006, surrounded by his loving family. Late of St. Joachim and formerly of St. Clair Beach. Beloved husband of 44 years to Theresa (nee Soulliere). Loving father of Michele and husband Frank Fratarcangeli, of Tecumseh. Proud papa of Matthew and Mark. Dear son of the late Herbert (2002) and Ada (1992), and son-in-law of Anna Soulliere and the late George (2003). Dear brother of Charlene and husband George Abray, of Mobile, AL; Daniel and wife Elaine, of Merlin; Margaret Anne and husband Jim Milliman, of Carslbad, CA; William and wife Connie, of Merlin; Robert and wife Vicki, of Lighthouse Cove; Mary Catherine Collins, of Victoria, BC; Rosemary and husband Doug Millar, of London, ON; Diane and husband Bill Colvin, of Palgrave, ON; and the late Carl Dillon (2005) (Harriet Fitzpatrick, of Vancouver). He will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Howard was a longtime proprietor of Dillon Auto Centre, Inc. and was a member of the Stoney Point Council 8783 Knights of Columbus and the Windsor Yacht Club. Visiting Tuesday, from 2:30 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at The Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh (735-2830). K. of C. & Parish prayers were held Tuesday evening. Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, February 2, 2006, at Visitation Parish (Stoney Point) for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Fr. Larry Brunet will be the celebrant. Interment at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Merlin. As your expression of sympathy, a donation to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre or to the new Visitation Parish Building Fund would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Howard Dillon in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 24, 2006. All are welcome. This has to be so hard for all of you ! Howard was such a warm and wonderful person. He and all of you are in our prayers.I am so glad I had that long conversation with him last Friday at the hospital-he was very comfortable with his situation and he told me he would be watching and helping all of us--a very courageous Guy!
