Howard Frederickson Obituary

Howard Wesley Frederickson, Jr. (91) of Willingboro, NJ, a former resident of Middlesex Borough, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2024 at Virtua Voorhees Hospital with his wife and daughter at his side. He was predeceased by his former wife Geraldine Tarver Frederickson, parents (Howard and Lillian Frederickson) and brother (Kenneth Frederickson).

Howard was a lifelong resident of New Jersey, spending the last thirty years in Willingboro after relocating from Middlesex Borough.

Howard worked for the National Starch and Chemical Corporation over 30 years while serving as a volunteer fireman at the Middlesex Fire Department - Lincoln Hose Company #1 in the 1970's and later serving the station as a life member.

Howard was known for his personality and engaging conversation. He was an avid Giants fan and enjoyed watching Westerns and National Geographic documentaries.

He is survived by his loving wife Marjorie E. Olphin Frederickson and the combined family of five daughters [Sondra Frederickson, Stacy Ali (Herb), Denise Fidelia (Patrick), Carla Thomas, Lisa Olphin]; three sons [Waynerd Frederickson (Cheryl), Derek Frederickson (Bernice) and David Olphin (Lisa)] and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A gathering of friends and family will be held at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, Bridgewater, NJ on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 11:00 am, followed by burial at the Bound Brook Cemetery, Bound Brook, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests you to consider giving a charitable donation to the Middlesex Fire Department - Lincoln Hose Company #1, Middlesex Borough, NJ.

A special thank you to our friend Tori and the nurses on the 2nd floor (Trish and Lori) at Virtua Voorhees Hospital who cared for him during his final moments. We truly appreciate you.
