Howard Hess III Obituary
Howard P Hess III, Neptune City, NJ Passed peacefully Nov. 11, 2022 at home. Born in East Orange and graduated from Ocean Twp. ‘71.
He started working for North American Van Lines as a household mover in the late 70’s. He became a commercial truck driver and bought his truck in 1983. His CB handle was,
East Coast Ghost. He has driven in all the lower 48 states of America. Late 90’s he bought his ‘79 Peterbilt truck. In 2002 he expressed his two favorite passions via a custom paint design.
1 st Dale Earnhardt Sr, the Intimidator #3, displays all 8 Winston Cup Winnings 2nd Oakland Raiders, Superbowl 3 times Champions
He drove for STI and currently CRST. Summer 2022 Howard was acknowledged for “One Million Miles Accident Free” a celebration held at the Talladega Racetrack
Predeceased by his parents Howard P Hess Jr. and Arlene Henry Hess. Survived by his sister Alison and husband Gerrit De Vos; nephew David and newlywed wife Rebecca; Two nieces Kelly and Samantha De Vos; 2 great nephews and 1 great niece.

Visitation Thursday Nov. 17, 2022 4 pm - 7 pm Buckley Funeral Home 509 Second Ave Asbury Park.
