Dear Cheryl, and Family,
We were deeply saddened to learn of Butch's passing. Please know you have our heartfelt sympathy, I am sure he will be missed by his many friends and loving family.
Although life leads us in different directions it does not deminished our memories and many years of our great friendship and business association. I often think of our partnership in the box business where we manufactured Pizza boxes for many pizzerias in the area. I recall Butch telling Wally Skladanowski and I about one particular night when he was working alone, and decided to work over to fill a rush order, it took him almost to midnight to complete the order, I remember him telling us, as he was locking up the shop (which was not located in the safest part of town), he turned and saw this big guy with a shot gun walking in the vicinity of the shop, and I recall Butch saying " I don't get scared to easy but that night my legs felt like rubber until I saw him walking past me" --- It seems shortly after that, we sold the business, didn't make much money, but it was a good experience.

To Dr. McLaughlin and family
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time. We know how difficult this as we just lost our father a month ago. Dr. McLaughlin took excellent care of our daddy and for that we will forever be grateful to him.

To live in hearts we leave behind, is not to die. You will live on in the hearts of your children, grandchildren, Cheryl, and all your family and friends. When we think of you, we see your smile, hear your laughter, and cherish the memories of your goodness.
We will always love you.

Cheryl, Joe, Beth and Michelle,
Our deepest sympathy to all of you. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Your family and Butch will always be a special part of my childhood memories. I will always remember our trip to Florida, the summer camping trips and the late night visits at your house. We always looked forward to going to “The McLaughlins” for an evening of fun!
Butch ALWAYS had a smile on his face and kind words of encouragement. He was so full of life and laughter. I will remember him always. May your memories keep him close to you. He will truly be missed.
