It is hard sometimes to be joyful and sad at the same time. This is how we felt on Tuesday,Oct.8 when we attended the service for Howard at Burdens Funeral Home. Meeting Howard and Edna in 1973 was a delight;we became great friends and the next summer we became child care providers for Mark, Jill, and Darcey. For many years this was so until Darcey was in school. I have many stories !!! God,s blessings. Ken & Cathy Smothers

If it were not for the Reynolds family, I would probably have never become a Christian. Thank you for the Christian exposure at an earlier age, remembering pizza at the house after Friday night football games as well. May God bless you all. Joy speth , please email me at [email protected], looking forward to communicate with you, been over 50 years.

One of my favorite memories of Howard's words were.." If you are going to fish you use good bait, now you are going to fish for men. .or Children; prepare well, study hard, give your best and give a good refreshment".(When I worked with Children's Bible Club). Through the years this has been good advice and just like Howard lived, He studied hard, lived a good example and gave out the refreshing word of God. What a great testimony he was to us. Thank you Lord for great men like Him to try to follow..many lives were brought to Christ through Howard and Edna. My hope is that you have all prepared to see them again, as this is what they would want. Lovingly,

Great wonderful man, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather great great grandfather. He live a life well rounded filled with love of Jesus, family and friends and people he meet along the way. I'll always remember the great childhood memories we had...Grandpa Holding me in church, as I feel asleep... The trips to restaurants ice cream. Grandma, having us act like we were kicking grandpa out of bed... The way he snored with a whistle. The small things, are the best memories... I Love you Grandpa, Tell me meet again.

Howard Reynolds was one of the greatest examples of Godly Meekness that I have witnessed in over 45 years in the ministry. He honored his Pastors', He Loved his wife, He served his church, and most importantly, he Lived for his Savior Jesus Christ. I have been blessed to know Howard Reynolds.

We were blessed to have him for the years we did. The most honest decent man that I ever had in my life. If anyone deserves heaven my grandfather did. Mark W. Harteis & Family
