Astrophysicist Hubert Reeves intrigued us when explaining how 200,000 years ago animals such as monkeys, possessed a gift unlike any other animals - "intelligence". But made me wonder who is the source of their gift?
What of all the accomplishments in the field of AI? The credit must go to the scientists and engineers who design them. By the same token, to whom should we give credit for the real intelligence of the human mind like our beloved Mr. Reeves? Here we must borrow the words of King David of ancient times when he was moved to say to his Creator in a poetic way: "I praise you because in an awe-inspiring way I am wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful, I know this very well." Mr. Hubert Reeves will be missed. He was wonderfully made by this same source.
