A very dear friend whom I miss

May 20, 2013

For those who would like to share in the beautiful memory of Dr. Tucker and his forever remembered work, the Nace family knew Dr. Tucker and family very well. Dr Tucker took care of all the farm animals who stayed at the Windhome Farm, on the previous property of Harry T. Peters. Dr. Tuckers dearest friend Melvin Nace (one of many) called on his friend Dr. Tucker many times whether an animal just needed a birth assistance, a boost, a dose of medicine or in some cituations be sent to animal heaven when there was no other choice. Dr. Tucker treated every animal whether a cow, chicken, dog, cat, sheep, goat, horse or just a stray as if it was his very own. Dr. Tucker was sadden to learn his dearest friend Melvin was killed in an auto accident and a little over a year later Mel lost his youngest son Sam. Dr Tucker was always there for the Nace family. Please never forget "a friend in need is a friend indeed" The last surviver of the immediate nace family the oldest son has taken the loss of Dr. Tucker hard and was notified of the passing on MAY 18, 2013. As a memory a horse by a nearby farm was given a bath in memory of Dr. Tucker, something Mel, Syd and Sam is looking down at with a big smile on May 19,2013. As the horse got the bath, tears of joy for both families ran down the faces of Mr. and Mrs. David Nace. The promise of eternal salvation is such a blessing and something the Tucker and Nace family and many families above can always cherish. Bless you Dr. Tucker. The Nace family can be reached at 843-742-7906 if you would like to share a memory. Bless everyone for loving Dr. Tucker.

Words just do not seem to be enough when I think of Dr. Tucker. Great person, compassionate, loving, funny are just some that come to mind. He has been our vet for so many years I just cannot think of him not being there. Loved his jokes and the times we shared with him, it was a previlege to have worked with him and a honor to have called him friend. You will always live on in our heart. God Bless and rest high above as you watch down over Mary until she joins you.

Dr. Tucker was a great warm hearted man. My family and I knew Dr.Tucker since I was a little girl. We always trusted him to take care of our pets. Dr.Tucker was always a great vet and put his heart into taking care of animals and familys of the pets. You will never find another vet that was old school and so caring like Dr. Tucker. All though Dr. Tucker is in heaven now, we all can be at ease knowing he is looking down on us and letting us know everything is alright. Heaven now has a great friend and vet for all the pets who have gone to heaven. Dr. Tucker you are missed but will never be forgotten.

To the Tucker family. What a warm hearted person filled with love and concern for all that ever met him. The breakfast group at Hardee's would welcome him each morning when he was able to come and we all knew he would have some type of story to tell each of us. Last summer at the county fair I had the privilage of riding him around at the fair for about two hours and I enjoyed just being in his company. What a wonderful and dear person. Our love to each of you.

Dr. Tucker was so kind and helpful to me when I first moved to Orange county to open my practice. We had several wonderful conversations over the years. My fondest memory is a long chat we had at a Holistic veterinary meeting a few years back. He had such wonderful stories of his family and all their years in Orange. I'm so grateful to have known him, even just a little. My sympathy to his family, including his Tucker Veterinary, Inc. family.

Mary, Carol, Steve and family, May God give you peace at the passing of your beloved Dr. Tucker. I always loved talking to him as I have had many animals and spent many hours at his office. It was one of the greatest pleasures to have ever know Dr H. Q. Tucker Jr. He was so much to this community in Orange Virginia. For he will be dearly missed by many. His abilities as a Veterinarian were far sur past the others. No one can ever replace his knowledge and ability and what a true humanitarian. He ran his race to the very end with greatness, kindness, and giving his all. God Bless his sweet soul for he was given such a great gift from God and he used it to the best of his abilities. I have know this great man for many years many decades and I could never get enough of his wonderful humor and kindness. He was such a understanding person in every level. I am so greatful to have had the privilege to have been a friend and a client. My sincere condolences go to the family and Mrs. Tucker. May God place his peace and grace on you and your family. For I am Honored to have had known this Wonderful Man and his great legacy. God Bless.
